Luxury Six-panel Hardwood Pet Gate to Crate is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 44.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved the 1st one so much I purchased another. I purchased this a few months ago and loved it so much I purchased another one to join the two together to make one very large crate. Now my puppy has her own wing of the house.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ZERO STARS We need a good quality gate for kids and pets. This is the most frustrating miserable gate ever! It looks beautiful and could be far superior to any other gate and after paying premium price, I expected it to at least work. Problem is the terrible quality. First gate had screw holes in the wrong places so couldn't connect panels. They quickly sent out another gate. The replacement gate wore out. The seam at the corner of the door panel split open making the door inoperable. They told me the glue must have worn out. They do not have replacement gate panels available so they offered a gift card for a replacement of the whole set which was only a fraction of the cost of the ordering a new gate. The new gate arrived after spending more money and the door doesn't swing appropriately as it is misaligned. The bottom gaps and the top catches. I am beyond frustrated with their poor quality at an extremely high price point for a dog gate. Original gate, extender, and then plus replacement only to still. have a door that doesn't function well. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY I will not purchase from this company again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant looking! Love this! Use it to block off my dining room from the dog. Thinking about moving it to my entryway to give her a space of her own rather than using a crate. Very elegant looking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Quality Gate System I can not begin to explain how much I love this gate! We have two Chihuahuas that mean the world to us. This gate keeps them separated from our front door entry area. They can see everything but not escape. The quality of this gate is like 5 star furniture. This gate is easy to latch and unlatch as you need to go through. This would work for large or small dogs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what I wanted Using this beautiful gate to keep two dogs out of our "White room".
Date published: 2019-06-17
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would give it0 stars if that were an option Absolute junk. One of the panels was installed upside down, resulting in an out of balance gate that scratched our floors. So flimsy my 7 lb puppy pushed it open and got loose. Not at all the quality of other items I have purchased from Frontgate over the years. Needless to say it is being returned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pet gate The pet gate I purchased for our dogs works wonderful! It is just like the picture very clean, durable and easy to use. It has the same quality as all Frintgate items do!
Date published: 2019-05-28
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase You cannot get the quality of Frontgate unless you can afford the quality. That's the truth. The gates I bought will last FOREVER.

We bought this product several years ago & love it. At one time, there were "stabilizers/feet" that attached at the bottom to help keep the fencing upright when used on larger room sizes. The catalogue used to have them. Are they still available?

What is the measurement of the space between bottom horizontal bars? Would a small cat be able to slip through?

Your website says that the space between bars are 1.875", but I am concerned about the bottom horizontal bars not the vertical bars. The space there looks larger than the space between the vertical bars. I am wondering if a small cat (not a kitten) would be able to slip through.
Asked by: CoriH
Thank you for your interest in the Six-panel Hardwood Pet Gate and Crate. The space below the horizontal bar is slightly wider then the space between the vertical bars, but should not be wide enough for a full grow cat to fit through. However, this does depend on the size and determination of your cat.

Asked by: sherribnd
Thank you for your interest in the Six-panel Hardwood Pet Gate and Crate. This item is both a gate and a crate. The six-panel pet barrier easily sets up as a zig-zag gate, a spacious hexagonal puppy playpen, or a sturdy rectangular crate or can simply be left as a gate.

Does this contain big strong dogs?

I have 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks who are DETERMINED to follow me everywhere and/or steal food out of the kitchen. I feel like they would just push the gate to get through. Let me know, thanks!
Asked by: gretaras
My Afghan Hound weighs 60 lbs, but is very laid back. He is timid, and will not go through a doorway if he thinks the door is not open far enough. For, him this gate is working well. He is 29 inches at the top of his back and has made no attempt to jump over it. My male before him would have jumped it in a heartbeat. I don't know if he would jump on it or try to push it or move it. The gate is very well made and has two hooks that latch, one upper, and then lower. I am pretty sure they could not open the gate if latched, but uncertain if they would attempt to push it over or try to get around it. It probably depends a lot on how you have it placed to contain them. Hope this helps. I read al lot of the reviews before I bought this product as they are very helpful.

Can you separate the panels?

Have a 82in opening and a 52 in opening and is it freestanding ?
Asked by: Gatekeeper65
I guess you could take screws out to take panels off but it's not actually designed for that. It is freestanding. It freestands in a zig zag fashion well. I have it configured with 3 center panels in a C shape, then the outer panels turned 90 degrees and it stands well. My opening is 87 inches wide. I could also zig zag it but like the way the gate opens to the center of the room with the C shape.
