The quality you expect from Frontgate
Beautiful and very comfy stools, the leather is soft and smells divine. I wish the color was more taupe (it tends to the sage side a bit) but they are beautiful and still work well in our space.

Spot On As Usual
We are close to settling on our new home...so we have not used the stools yet. But we did a lot of shopping around in many online and brick and mortar stores before purchasing these stools from Frontgate. As usual, because we are previous customers, none of the other stores could touch the variety in styles or the price (for the quality) that Frontgate has. They look and feel amazing so far. And another good feature is the return policy for Frontgate. We have no concern that we won't be using the stools yet. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful, high-quality bar stools
We are building a new home and the Matteo Swivel Bar Stool will give our walnut kitchen island the timeless classic look we are trying to create. They were carefully packaged and shipped, arriving in excellent condition and fully assembled. They were as beautiful as portrayed in the catalogue, yet very durable with quality standards as one would expect from Frontgate. We can't wait until our house is complete to use them.

Perfect barstools!
These barstools are great and very comfortable! The white paint color is perfect with my white cabinets. It’s not a super bright stark white thankfully. The leather is a nice warm taupe so it’s versatile and on trend. I love that they swivel but don’t look like they do. I’m an interior designer so I’m pretty picky!

Great Stools
Stools were delivered in good condition and well packaged. Stools met with my expectations and are of Quality that I have come to expect from Frontgate. I look forward to many years of use of these stools. The leather used on my stools is certainly a grade of leather that I find acceptable and should hold up to continued daily use for a long time in the future. I am very pleased with this purchase. My Shipment was delayed somewhat in getting to me versus the original projected date, but like everything else that we are ordering now one must expect and accept the delays.

Best Barstools on the Market
Our new barstools are just beautiful and go with our large bar and kitchen décor. They are extremely well made and came in sturdy shipping containers and were fully assembled. They
were delivered less than a week and are a stunning addition to our home. We have already ordered a second set but in a slightly different design and fabric which will coordinate with the first two.

Bar Stools
I bought 7 of these bar stools for our basement bar area. They are seriously the perfect bar stool. They come completely assembled, they swivel, have a foot guard, no arms to hit counter tops and the leather is great bc you can wipe it off. I bought these bc I have the front gate Henning swivel chairs at my kitchen island that I bought 5 years ago and they still look brand new. You won’t be disappointed with either. You can’t beat the price for this quality.

These counter stools are great!
We bought these after re-doing our kitchen island and they are fabulous. They are well built and comfortable. They came "overpacked" with no damage at all. The only tweak we made was to pull the plastic "caps" off the feet bottom and replace with felt pad. That is just a personal preference.

Exceptionally nice counter-height swivel chairs
We are extremely pleased with these swivel chairs that we bought for our kitchen counter. We have six of them. Craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident in every feature. The high backs are extremely comfortable. They were shipped in a double box, reinforced with quality packing materials, and individually wrapped in protective materials: no breakage, and no scratches. After weeks of searching we are so happy to have found these.

We purchased two chairs which arrived on the date they were promised. They were carefully wrapped and were found to be in perfect condition. The seats are extremely comfortable, they swivel well, and are a great addition to our kitchen counter where we eat most of our meals. In the future, I’d like to buy two more!

A Good Investment!!

We ordered two of these chairs & chose the dark wood with the taupe fabric; they're exquisite! They're beautifully crafted & look exactly as in their photo. They're so nice, in fact, that they make the pub table for which we got them look a bit shabby; I suppose that'll be our next purchase.
They also arrived much sooner than anticipated & without any annoyingly messy & unrecyclable styrofoam in the boxes, which is most appreciated! They weren't scratched or blemished in any way whatsoever, & we couldn't be happier. Frontgate never seems to disappoint.

Love our new barstools!
The barstools are beautiful, durable and comfortable. We did have an issue with one of the stools arriving broken. I contacted the Frontgate customer service team and they agreed to reimburse or replace the broken stool. I chose to replace the item, but first I had to ship the broken one back! I was told to package it back up in the original packing and set out front for UPS to pick up. We did that on a Thursday and the stool was still in our driveway after a week! The new stool would not be shipped to us until Frontgate received the broken stool. I was quite disturbed that the stool wasn't picked up as our local weatherman was predicting rain/snow mix and I was worried about the box deteriorating in our driveway! After numerous phone calls to Frontgate and UPS and some complaining, the stool was finally picked up. Frontgate did overnight our new stool once the damaged one was received by them so I appreciated that.

Great Construction and Comfort
Front gate was able to ship the bar stools out within a week or so, so very quick to receive. Shipping is expensive, but they go to great pains to make sure the stools are well protected. We are quite pleased with the construction and comfort of these bar stools. Our only concern is with the feet (the caps that meet the floor) We replaced removed the plastic versions that came with these and found several had nails poking out that would have eventually ruined our wood floor. We replaced them with a 3M soft slider "long wear" cap that will slide easier on the floor and not scratch. I still need to find out if I can Scotch Guard the fabric though. No information came with the stools.

Frustrated, agitated and disappointed
After speaking extensively with Serena in customer service. I ordered the distressed white with grey linen barstools. My concern was that the smoke gray leather looked beige. The picture of the linen with white stool gave no color. She told me that the smoke gray was not grey as the color was mottled with a lot of beige in it, but the linen was definitely gray. I did not want griege or taupe. The stools arrived and the color named on the order was taupe. They do look gray in the morning, but the rest of the day and evening they turn from beige to toast to almost brown. I don’t know whether to return them and try the smoke gray leather or keep them and hope that I can adjust. They are the style I want, and I have searched every website, local store and online store to find this style in a white frame with gray leather. These are the closest I have found. I am frustrated because of the incorrect information that I received which is likely to cause me considerable expense.
