Medallion Indoor/Outdoor Rug is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 656.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Purchased last summer to creat an outdoor seating area . Very little traffic in this area. Put away in winter by rolling up on original roll. This year the piping around several edges has frayed severely. Looks terrible. Disappointed with this item.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this rug! I purchased three of these rugs (black and cream) in various sizes. They held up only one season. The 7'6: x 10' rug shed all of the black fibers and the binding unraveled early during the second season. The large 8.6'x13' lost all of the cream color within the body of the rug and binding unraveled by the end of the second season and the 5'10" round rug lost shed all of the cream color fibers. These may hold up well indoors or on a covered deck. They do not hold up to exposure to rain and weather as advertised. Unfortunately, due to the time lapse between seasons, by the time I realized they were junk it was too late to return them for a refund. Frontgate should change the description of these rugs so customers understand they do not hold up to rain and weather exposure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Rug I ordered this rug in 2012 and used for a year before going into storage until I relocated to my present home in 2015. This rug takes hot GA afternoon sun and still looks great. I have actually used Clorox bleach on it since my Lab loves to dig and run up on the patio with red GA clay feet. No frayed edges and still looks amazing. I was surprised with the negative responses regarding this outdoor rug. I'm looking to change only because I'm ready for a change...not because of product inferiority.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money Bought this rug a few years ago and it started to fray and unravel after two years of use. It also started to fade and looks horrendous. Definitely not worth the money!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Thin I love the design, but the item is much too thin. It has no body to it and even with a rug pad under it, it tends to move.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Customer Service, please respond. This is my third time trying to find help with my purchase. My previous two emails to Frontgate have been unanswered. When I rolled out the rug in December (which I love) one end was kinked around the cardboard roll and as my previous emails stated (first sent over two weeks ago), the kink has not come out. Please advise.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did Not last one year! I love Frontgate but this is the first time over 10 years I have run into a product that is terrible. I ordered 3 rugs and all 3 had ends that curled, I guess due to being rolled up for delivery? I tried many things but couldn't get them to lay completely flat. The direct sun did fade them a lot. Also ends started fraying badly. Mine looked worse than the person who included phots of hers fraying.

Does this rug need a pad?

This rug will be outside on a deck. Does it need an non slip outdoor pad? Thank you
Asked by: TPeachGA
I have mine on a wooden planked porch without a pad with no slipping issues. However furniture on both rugs have at least one side anchored.

What is color design of Taupe rug?

For a large rect rug in Taupe/Cream - are the medallion/other borders cream with a taupe background (as shown in color selection picture), or taupe with a cream background (as presumed in last picture as scroll all pics of these rugs)?
Asked by: Minnesnowta
I got the rust/orange medallion rug. The picture looks like the rug is a solid color rust with a border design and a center medallion. In truth, the rug I got is cream colored with rust colored border design and medallion. I had returned a different rug before getting this one for not looking like the picture. This one doesn't resemble the colors in the picture either, but I liked it well enough to keep it. If you like the color of the rug when it gets there, the quality is good and it was a super buy.

The Medallion Rug in Terra Cotta appears orange when viewed on line, but reddish brown in the catalog. Which is correct?

Asked by: Ashopper
definitely more orange. It is hard to tell from the catalog and online I know. But it's vibrant without being too bright, and the cream color sets it off beautifully. My picture shows a corner of the Medallion rug as well as the Layla. I had assumed all the terra cotta from this collection would look the same or close. So I thought I was sort of 'reversing the order' with these two rugs. But you can see the Layla is much more red and the Medallion is more orange. Hope the side by side comparison helps a little with your color selection. I love them both and love the contrast! They've given some life to my lanai.... Wouldn't change a thing!

Re: question "What is color design of Taupe rug?" It has been 1 year since you answered this question. Is this rug still the taupe background with the cream details? Thank you.

In the smaller 3x5ish area rug, does it have center medallion or just border? And does it blow easily in the wind?

Asked by: 3birdy
It has a medallion and remains secure in place. I haven't experienced any wind problems.

Does the black and creme rug fade?

Asked by: therealsteamroller
No, these rugs do not fade at all. I have ordered them a couple times now (in the black and cream). I use them on my patio where I have many plants (and thus plant water/soil runoff) and so they do tend to get dirtier than if used in an outdoor space with no plants, but they do hose clean. I don't think you would be disappointed in these rugs.
