Micah Sideboard is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Micah Sideboard The piece is beautiful, but the doors do not have soft close. They slam shut and you need to close the left middle cabinet before you close the right middle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Michah sideboard The sideboard came quickly and in good shape. Unfortunately, it was missing a corner leg that hadn’t been sent although I was told it would be. A month later and my piece is not usable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very solid but a few issues This is a beautiful sideboard and presents well in our larger dining room. Quality of wood is great and shine is lovely but the engineering and assembly at the factory could have been better conceived. To open the center two doors you have to first open the outside two doors or those doors on the end get rubbed hard and the wood gets damaged. Also we noticed right away two doors were sagging and we had to adjust 2 of 4 door’s hinges since they were not lining up across the top.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Missing bolts for the legs My sideboard arrived yesterday but unfortunately it was missing the bolts necessary to attach the legs. Hopefully the missing items will arrive soon. The pegs for the shelves are also missing, I guess they were with the bolts. It's a nice piece of furniture and I would have rated it much higher if all pieces had arrived as expected.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doors aren't evenly spaced smelled horrible at 1st When the sideboard arrived it was extremely heavy (the delivery guys could barely lift it) and once we unwrapped it, it reeked of butyric acid so badly we had to open all the doors and windows all day and train a fan on it. Customer service was sorry and offered to replace it, but it was already out of the box by then and so heavy, it would have been more bother to return. Wiped it down 3 times and kept a fan on it for 3 days and it finally stopped smelling like vomit. Now that we've got it in place, we notice the gap between the doors on the left side is a full 1/2 inch wider than on the right side. There's also unsightly burl marks in the front that interrupt the groovy grid pattern. It's too heavy and too much trouble to return, so I guess it's ours now, like an albatross around my neck. I don't think I would ever order any furniture again from this company.

My wall is 168”.  Could I get two of these and put them next to each other? Would that look dumb?  is there anyway to affix them so there’s no gap between them?

Asked by: David0826
Thank you for your interest in the Micah Sideboard. You could certainly place two of these sideboards side by side. However, if they were placed against each other without leaving any gap between them, the doors where the two sideboards meet would not be able to be opened. We do not recommend attempting to connect them or make any other alterations, as this would void the warranty.
