Great purchase!
The monogrammed pool mat is beautiful. It blends so well with my liner that it seems like it was part of it all along. It personalized my pool and I have received so many complements. Thank you for always offering high caliber products.

Beautiful but not durable
I absolutely loved the look of this mat and was excited to try it on our pool. We received this mat last week and installed it in our pool this past Tuesday. By Friday morning, there were large scratches all over the mat and the color had already started fading around the edges. We followed the instructions to a T-- placed it in the deep end of the pool, not shallow, used, light vacuuming around it and made sure the chemicals in the pool were balanced. n fact, no one had even been swimming in the pool for the first day and a half it was in there. For the cost, I really feel like it should last more than 48 hours! Disappointing to say the least. I contacted Frontgate and they were apologetic but are unsure of how to process the return since it has been used in the water so I am now waiting to hear from another department as far as what to do. I am hoping this was a defective item and that I can get a replacement that functions fine but that remains to be seen. At this point though, I cannot recommend this to anyone- way to expensive to get a couple of days out of before it starts looking terrible. Beautiful concept, poor durability.

Beautiful...while it lasted
This mat is gorgeous! Even the guy who installed my pool asked me if I had "custom tile work" done!
Unfortunately, after 5 months, it's faded to almost white. We can rub the paint off with our hands.
Hate that! We loved it until we didn't!

Looks like real
I bought this for my pool in Florida my pool is made of concrete but it worked out great moved a little bit once in a while people thought it was attached to the bottom of the pool looks great I bought the large one

Attractive feature
We ordered the smaller one of these mats at first, but it wasn't heavy enough to stay on the bottom of the pool, so we ordered this large one, although it looks nice, we have the type of pool that has the self-cleaning jets in the bottom, so when the pool cleans itself it floats around also, but we like it and it's a great conversation piece!

Too small
We have a normal size pool and thought this would be a great addition, our last name initial, unfortunately we put it in the pool and the next morning it was belly up, it wouldn't stay put, so we are going to order the larger one hoping it will stay at the bottom, it is a very nice item, just too light weight!

HI will this fade or damage plaster under mat if I ever get rid of mat
Thank you for your interest in the Monogrammed Pool Mat. This mat must be used on a flat, smooth surface and will not cause any damage when removed as there is no adhesive that is used in the installation process.

I've seen reviews about the mat fading, Is this still a concerm?
Thank you for your interest in our Monogrammed Pool Mat. This mat should be resistant to fading in standard pools. For saltwater pools, we recommend removing mat prior to addition of salt to help prevent fading.

Can the mat be installed while the pool is filled with water. Or does the water need to be drained before installation of mat?
Thank you for your interest in the Monogrammed Pool Mat. This mat can be installed while the pool is filled with water. Simply place the mat on the pool water’s surface, let the mat sink to the bottom then flatten as necessary.

Does it matter if the pool is saltwater vs chlorine tabs?
Thank you for your interest in the Monogrammed Pool Mat. This item can be used in both chlorine and saltwater pools. However, we do recommend removing from saltwater pools while salt is being added.

Cleaning pool
We have a Robot that cleans our pool. Is it ok to have this Mat at the bottom, while the Robot is running?
For routine pool cleaning, it doesn’t need to be moved.
