Looks great in the pool, just as in the picture. Just wish they had mentioned that the large mat had to be in at least 3 feet of water, unless they did mention it and I missed it. I had originally planned to put it in the shallow part of the pool. But oh well.

I have the dolphine automatic cleaner for the pool. would this work with the pool mat. also, I have automatic cover, does that matter?

We cover our pool every day because we are around trees. Is this ok? Instructions say not to use if you cover the pool even for short term. Is this right?

I have read mixed reviews about this pool mat. I am wondering what the backing of this mat looks like and if it could simply be placed outside of the pool on the pool deck. Would it be a trip hazard? Would it work as a decorative feature by lounge chairs?
Thank you for your interest in the Monogrammed Pool Mat. This mat is entirely made of vinyl with printing; there is not a separate backing material. We would not recommend using this mat outside of the pool as it not designed for this purpose. This mat should be used in a section of a pool in which the water is no less than 3' deep and the surface is flat and smooth.
