I want to know how many 16 oz bottles will it hold before I buy it.
Thank you for your interest in the Optima Ice Bucket. The amount of bottles that would fit in this item would depend on the size and shape of the bottles you are using. This item holds 4 qt. and is 10" dia. at the top and 7.8" dia. at the base.

Has the seal been repaired on this product since MARCH 2012
My bucket arrived in January 2013 and the seal does not stay on the lid.

The ice bucket’s lid has a plastic ring to keep it close tight. This plastic ring keeps falling off of the lid. I don’t know how to keep it in place and which side ( smooth or ridges) side should be against the lid.
Does the bucket have a reservoir in the bottom for ice that's melted? I hate when ice cubes sit in a puddle of melted ice.
Is the lid to the optima ice bucket supposed to fit snugly or does it just rest on the top? The rubber around the edge of the lid sights it should be a tight fit...
