Original Mesh Zero-Gravity Recliner is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 78.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful addition to my patio. This is my first zero-gravity chair and it is a wonderful addition to my patio. I don’t know how it compares to cheaper models (my only gripe/hesitation was the cost), but it has certainly met my needs and expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My father used to say, “You get what you pay for”. We’ve had these chairs before...twice before, sadly. But they had never been purchased from Frontgate until the third time. The first time, we got them from the corner community mom and pop hardware store. The second time, from one of the big box stores. The third time, and this time having recently made the move back to Michigan from California, we wanted chairs that would last. Frontgate was the winner, hands down, and so are we. We spent a little more because quality is their benchmark. Had we gone with quality the first time, we’d still have the first set of chairs. The quality and comfort shows in these chairs from Frontgate and we have been enjoying them and the compliments we receive from friends. From the sturdy frame, the comfortable mesh, the movable pillow for either added lumbar support or head/neck comfort, these chairs are a “must have” for your deck or patio. They lock in place safely and easily for nap-time! Order them before summer passes you by.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality, so comfortable! I ordered two for my husband and I back in 2017. I got tired of the cheaper versions dripping rusty water all over the deck. The issue was mainly with the eyelets and cords. Eyelets would rust out and cords would fray. Rust juice would be all over from the rain. Maybe we were a bit more careful with these new recliners and not leaving these out too many times during rain storms but they look brand new still three years later. Great product. Comfortable. With the pillow moving all the way down to the seat. You can’t go wrong. I have not received any incentive for my review. Unfortunately, when submitting this review, I have to select whether I received incentive and the only option is “Yes”. They need to fix it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with a pair of these! These are amazing! Feels so good to sit on. Very nice when we anticipate spending a lot of time in our backyard. I wish I could ask my husband to chime in, but our puppy has decided one of the chairs is for him so we either have to buy another or hubby is out of luck!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The King of Comfort ! The most comfortable chair I ever sat and laid on. So easy going from sitting position to laying down and even easier to get into an upright position! The locking device is also a great design in the event you don’t want to recline all the way. The material is so comfortable to be on that I don’t want to get up! And the weight of the chair is just right! Not too heavy. Actually, I’m on it right now as I write! Funny thing is, the first time I used the chair and came back in the house, I opened the chair in the living room and watched TV in it!!! True story... ask my wife.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Relaxation guaranteed with this recliner I am very happy with the high quality and super comfort of this zero-gravity recliner! Ready to use upon delivery was great, too; I highly recommend, relaxation guaranteed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Outdoor Chair Beautiful sturdy chair for the outside patio. Larger than the usual ones. Very well built. Not afraid to leave outdoors. Won't rust- Best chair I've bought by far!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort like you have never experienced it before. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous chair for back comfort. This is the second one I ordered and after a friend sat in it, he ordered it as well. I use my chairs indoors and they are not a beauty statement but they fold up easily and can be put away when I want to be more 'decorator conscious'.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super comfy! When we bought our house there was a zero-gravity chair in the shed so I went looking for one to match as closely as I could not knowing the brand of the inherited one. We love this one! It's so comfy to sit and relax in outside! It's darker than it looks in the picture and the material is more plastic-feeling than I was expecting (I thought it would cloth), but those aren't deal breakers so we love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instant Relaxation The reaction to my Zero Gravity chair is always the same. There is curiosity first. Is it comfortable? How does it work? Is it safe? Then I invite the curious to have a seat and lean back. Then there is a lot of talk about comfort and naps. I love it and freely share that assessment with my guests.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Chairs These chairs are soooo comfortable and very well constructed. We bought two and love them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk These chairs were stored inside during fall, winter & spring. They only lasted outside for 2 summer seasons. By the end of the second season the arms on the chairs literally started to deteriorate, became rough and looked horrible. Not what I would expect from any outdoor chair especially for the expensive cost at Frontgate. Since I had the chairs for more than one year, Frontgate customer service only gave me a $20 dollar coupon for a future purchase. Gee...thanks Frontgate!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from So disappointed... We needed to replace our two existing chairs again (ours only last a few years)...I thought wow, what a great deal. Turns out it wasn’t. We prefer the XL chairs, so now we have two new chairs that are not XL. Darn it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality We looked at Zero Gravity Recliners at several stores before ordering this chair. The Frontgate chair is a much higher quality chair. We replaced the original Zero Gravity Chairs we ordered from Frontgate 10 years ago which finally wore out. These chairs are very comfortable and sturdy and we expect they will last at least as long at our lake home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality and comfort! I bought this chair a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. I have a bad back so I have to be selective when purchasing items like this. Its nice looking as well. Some of the other chairs I was looking at weren’t as nice looking as this chair. Lastly, it’s sturdy construction. It’s an aluminum frame so it will last a long time. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great overall The chair seems very sturdy and well built. I'm not too worried about the rusting aspect because of the aluminum body and what appears to be stainless rings (I hope), but more for the cording and fabric in the blistering heat at the Jersey shore. Only time will tell as to the longevity and comfort. It is now Memorial day weekend and I will update the review as I see fit at the end of the season.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Interesting chair Takes a bit of practice to recline smoothly (i am slightly handicapped) but once in it is very comfy and allows by legs to elevate. Great for me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A very sturdy chair I had shopped around for a chair that would recline where my feet would be above my heart level. Most just reclined slightly off the ground. This one reclines well above other chairs and that's why I bought it. It is comfortable and very well made. The only reason I gave it four stars was because I would have liked a choice in colors. The mocha is fine but I would have preferred another color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable back yard chairs This is my third order of these chairs. While I have not used these new ones yet, the previous ones that I have owned have been very comfortable and stable. I use them for seating around my pool. They seem to last 3 - 4 years when left out in the elements all year in southern california. The arms do get rough - I refinished them to lengthen their life. And the seats start to deteriorate with lengthy exposure to the sun. I will be folding the new ones up for periods of time not in use to extend their lives.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This chair feels great to recline in! I just bought four of the Original Mesh Zero Gravity Recliners. I read other reviews and hope they hold up better than some folks say. Thus far, I've been very pleased with all my Frontgate purchases and consider their products as high quality all the time. So far, so fine... still happy and hope to remain so!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great relaxing chair! Love my new zero gravity chair . It was purchased about a month ago to replace a 10 year old (cheaper) chair which developed a large tear. This chair is far superior - and I love the locking mechanism. A word of caution: it is a slim chair-I am 5’6” and weigh 124. If you are 200 lbs I think you’d need something wider!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Missing Rivet Attractive and appears to be well constructed with the aluminum rust free frame. We bought 2 of these on sale, but one arrived without a rivet, which made the chair un-usable. We hope that we can fix the problem with a stainless bolt. For the money paid, quality control could be significantly improved. Even at the sale price, not a great buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nap time! I've used this product for several years. When one needs to be replaced, I always reorder this model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought a pair of these chairs a while ago. Unfortunately, a bungee cord holding the fabric to the frame on one chair has broken. Easy to fix if I had an item. I have tried to contact the customer service a number of times to no avail. One chair is no longer usable. Seems like another chair will follow the same fate soon. Shame as the overall quality of the chairs are acceptable and if this bungee is fixed they can serve years longer. This bungee is the weakest link. Not sure what else I can do except posting here. Not recommending due to poor customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great zero recliner This is the third zero recliner that I have purchased. Great for relaxing and reading a good book. My favorite screened in porch chair. Highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully comfortable, well-made! We bought two of these chairs after using them for a number of years at a friends house up in Tahoe. They seem to be well-made, are definitely very comfortable, look great and are easy to use. Although there are chairs for much less, I think these are well crafted and therefore last longer so they are worth the higher cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great comfort and my go to for relaxation This is my 4th purchase of a zero gravity recliner from you. The recliner stays outside year round under a covered patio cover. I do fine that the plastic parts become brittle after about a year and this last one (prior to the recent purchase) the stitching on one side didn't grab sufficient mesh fabric and is pulling away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Camp Recliner After having major hip surgery I needed to sit such that my legs were at or above heart level as this helps prevent blood clots from forming in the legs. My living room recliner did not raise my legs high enough. I bought this recliner and for three weeks placed it in the living room as it did the job. It is well made and nice looking. I will use it outdoors on the patio and also take it to the beach. It is very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable, well constructed "Kick Back" chair! I had Been searching for some "reclining", "comfy" chairs when going camping. Although these are classified as Home outdoor furniture, they were priceless when we recently went camping! It is so nice to get the feet Elevated, after days/weeks/months of work, they were SO worth the money. Yes, Maybe a bit bulky for camping...it just don't matter! We will find room. Awesome for that afternoon snooze!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from One Good, One Not So Good We ordered two chairs and one came with the headrest unattached on one side which was an easy fix. The same chair was missing the rivet that held the bolt connecting the seat on one side. So we had to fix that problem. The other chair had no issues. We like the chairs very much. They are a great color and are very comfortable but we have to question the quality control when the one chair was clearly not put together correctly. We have only had them a little while so it will be interesting to see if they last.

Hi. I am 5'10" and most Zero Gravity chair now are too short for me. Are these Frontgate chairs suitable for tall people? I do not need extra wide, by the way, I need longer than average. Thank you

Most gravity chairs I have bought get water inside the frame and then leak and stain pool deck with rust. Is there anything about this chair that will keep that from happening

Asked by: beeks
Thank you for your interest in the Original Mesh Zero-Gravity Recliner. The frame of this recliner has a closed design, which should not allow water to enter the inside of the frame. The frame is also made of aluminum, which is resistant to rust.
