Rated 3 out of 5 by from Outdoor pillow insert replacement. Pillow insert arrived on time and was as Described but too big for my pillow cover. I have very basic sewing skills but cut one end and sewed shut. The original insert material deteriorated & this appeared to be the same stuff. Paper thin and the edges started to tear a little as I moved the stuffing just a bit. Maybe all manufacturers use the same stuff but ordered from Frontgate hoping for better quality

how thick (front to back) are these pillows, approximately?  (in the middle...I know that they get thinner at the edges.
