Parisian Plinth is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks good at a distance We ordered 2 urns and neither matched the picture in the catalogue nor each other in colour and one had an obvious crack along the rim. We ordered 2 more to see if we could get 2 that were not damaged and matched each other in colour. All 4 were different in colour--from light grey to medium brown! We are keeping 2 because they are the perfect size for our intended use and look great at a distance. Close up they don't show as well. We may end up painting them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful but.. I an existing customer and recently placed an order for barstools in February and had a great experience. This purchase was misleading and my husband and I were under the impression the plinth's came with the urns. When the urns arrived without the plinths we were very disappointed and called immediately. Anyhow customer service was happy to charge us for two plinths and then expedite them to us however the description needs to be updated. There's a big difference in what a person thinks they are paying and ends up more than double. Also they say this item is being discontinued so heed caution and make sure all items are available in your color before purchasing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Parisian Urn I love the style but when I got it there was a big crack and a hole along the top. The same thing happened with the base. I waited a month to get them so I was a bit disappointed but love the overall appearance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Parisian urn I bought 2 urns with the plinth for my front door, I was extremely happy with how they looked. The finish was much nicer than I thought it would be. I have had many compliments already!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A little crack I purchased the plinth for the pairing urn and they look beautiful together. However, within a couple of weeks, the plinth has developed a crack right at the base and my concern is that in time, that corner is going to collapse. I called customer service and as always, Frontgate is going to replace it. This company really stands behind its products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from an absolutely beautiful urn for our parterres! We needed a focal points between the two parterres that we had created. Boxwood hedges surround the two areas crisscrossed by viburnum densa bushes. In each compartment we planted rose bushes. The Parisian urn stands beautifully in between the two parterres. In it, we put a cotton tail fern, a greyish ivy and a confederate jasmin with its beautiful yellow flowers. The Parisian is a perfect addition: gorgeous and large enough to contain three plants.

Recommended for cold winter temperatures?

It says cast from an all-weather stone. Does this mean it is safe to leave out during the winter season where temperature may be below zero?
Asked by: djd108
Thank you for your interest in the Parisian Urn. For freezing temperatures we recommend that any planter be emptied, cleaned, covered and turned upside down so that moisture does not sit in the planter and constantly freeze/unthaw/freeze, etc. which can cause cracking in all quality of planters. If you have a dry storage area to place it in for the winters, it is recommended.

is the inside planting depth sufficient to sustain a boxwood topiary tree?

Asked by: SBurton
The parisian Urn has an inside planting depth of 11" diameter. We encourage you to check with your local nursery about how much space is needed for your planting needs.
