This fire place screen looks like it is cut glass with openings that something could fit through. Could a small animal fit through these openings? My cat has gotten into the fireplace and so I have to have something that is completely closed.

It is so beautiful and makes the fireplace stand out. You do need to keep in mind that the fire can't be too large to not cause damage, so not sure long term how it will withstand heat.

This screen is the perfect touch to our hearth room. It shipped with sturdy packaging and was easy to add the base supports. I love mercury glass and this screen adds just enough sparkle without being over the top. I searched for years for just the right screen and Frontgate delivered.

Distinctive yet Understated, this fireplace screen is gorgeous! The Mercury glass is lovely against the metal frame. We love how the fire shows through the open spaces but also covers the fireplace opening. It was simple to assemble and a very sturdy piece.
