Patina Copper Hose Pot is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 113.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from The green color is ridiculously neon I read all the comments about the ridiculous shade of neon green on this pot as well as all the questions and answers...What made me proceed with the purchase was a perspective customer asked if the green color had been rectified....The answer from the company was yes....So not true and don't appreciate the company pretending it was fixed for future sales...Not cool!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from "Patina Finish" Looks Horrible I received this item in the mail yesterday and should of paid more attention to the reviews instead of the amount of Stars. The "Patina" Finish looks horrible and fake. The quality of the copper is thick and sturdy so I will now start the grueling process of removing the lime green paint and let it age naturally.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from That green paint is VERY hard to remove We read the reviews about the horrible green paint "patina" and it is every bit as bad as they say. However some people said it was not that hard to remove. My husband is an engineer so he had the tools and chemicals available and it still took him quite a few hours to remove the paint. Once the paint is off, the pot is nice but don't expect to remove the paint easily and quickly. And you WILL want to remove it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The size is much larger than expected. It says it holds 100’ of hose but I was able to put 200’ in it - with room to spare. The “patina” is not nearly as pretty as the photos depict but I am in hopes that time will take care of that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A piece of art Not only functional, but beautiful. Worth the money, although I did get for 30% off. Very happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We had one for years, Loved it and bought a second We bought our first hose pot years ago and it has served us well! Even when the yard maintenance folks tipped it over, it held up well and the little dents just gave it more charm. When we renovated our back yard and needed another hose pot, we of course purchased another like we had before!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful I bought this about a month ago along with the 100 ft hose and it is just as pictured and holds the hose perfectly

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT Patina - Lime Green? So disappointed!!! I purchased one a few years ago and it is still a beautiful turquoise patina. Ordered two as gifts a couple weeks ago and both are this hideous lime/neon green. I wish I had read the recent reviews prior to purchasing... I didn't even think to look since I already own one that I purchased in 2016. I only hope they can go back to the original copper pots that look like they have an authentic patina.

Has anyone received one  that actually had the turquoise patina and not the lime green?  I purchased one years ago and it is still that beautiful turquoise, but I recently received two I purchased as gifts and they are both lime green :-/

I like the pot but  am concerned about the lime green paint that is being put on for patina. Can I buy one without that and apply my own patina paint? Also what is the width of the pot?

Asked by: Pepper45
Thank you for your interest in the Patina Copper Hose Pot. This is made of 100% copper and the finish is a hand-applied patina finish not green paint. We do not recommend painting this item yourself as it could void the warranty. The Medium size is 18-1/2" dia., and the Large size is 20" dia.

how do you wind the hose into the pot?

Asked by: del1
Thank you for your interest in the Patina Copper Hose Pot. You put the end of the hose through the exit hole for connecting hose to spigot; then, simply wrap the rest of the hose around the hose guide.
