A bit different than the photo
As another reviewer stated, this tree topper is chunkier than the photo, so maybe not your choice if you want a delicate filigree-style topper. However, it gains more presence from the distance by the slightly thicker metal work and will not be so prone to bending. The metal is entirely silver in color (which hadn't been apparent on my computer) and the piece is double-sided, two snowflakes back-to-back, a more valuable feature but which adds to the bulk.

Not as pictured
The star I received wasn't bad, but it didn't look like the images on the website. The pearls and the crystals were much chunkier in real life. The pictures on the site made them look much more delicate, so it wasn't really what I was looking for and was sent back.
