Thank you Frontgate for giving my mom tears of joy on her 75th #birthday today! She absolutely loved the cutting board with her late mom’s recipe (in her mom’s handwriting!) etched into the wood. The quality is incredible, and she said it was the best birthday present she’s ever received.

Grandmother's chicken noodle soup recipe
A couple of months ago I ordered this cutting board and had our grandmothers recipe engraved on it. It is such a special family heirloom, especially with it being in her hand writing. We are so pleased by the quality!

I am not one to write reviews, but I read all of them here before I ordered so I'm trying to be helpful to others. I know there were some negative reviews but I can say that I was thrilled. I called Frontgqte with many questions and they put me in touch with the manufacturer. Their customer service was outstanding! They answered all my questions and reviewed my handwritten recipe to make sure that everything was in order before they went ahead and did the engraving. It is a beautiful, quality piece and the engraving is really beautiful. This is something that will surely become a family heirloom for anyone who orders.

I wanted to give a gift to give my daughter to keep memories of her grandmother alive and pass on. This is a perfect idea if you have a recipe that’s been in the family. It came on time, and was very well done; the recipe is perfectly legible and the handwriting was immediately recognized. A 2-sided small recipe card fit perfectly. I was afraid to order 2 of these in case the negative reviews were accurate, but IMO they were not. I do have another family recipe I may do, it’s that good. Thanks for offering these!

The timing of seeing this item in the catalog was perfect. Easy to order, great quality, engraved image (no printed), was a perfect gift for my brother who calls me every Christmas Eve to ask for our mother's breakfast casserole recipe. Perfect heirloom gift for family members.
I ordered 4 of these recipe boards for Christmas gifts for family members. The recipe printed on the boards was for grandmas’ Christmas sugar cookies. The recipe was in her own handwriting, and because she has passed away now, the recipe board brings back great memories of Christmas at her house.

I love this item when it is finished properly. I have suffered trying to procure the properly finished item. I ordered 2 as gifts for my sisters. Both arrived faulty. We returned them for corrections. I am still waiting for the corrected version of one I ordered just before Christmas. It has been a frustrating ordeal.

I have read ALL your instructions, dimensions, description... and I don’t see the maximum dimensions that the recipe can be? What are the maximum dimensions the recipe can be?

You can take a picture of any size recipe, as long as it is a clear photo. For reproduction of images, the ideal resolution is 300 dpi for images at the final printed size.
