Pineapple Torches, Set of Two is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 123.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pineapple Theme Love, Love, Love how these torches look. However, they are a little shorter then your standard torches, so we ended up adding an attachment to the bottom to secure and give them a better height. But, they also leak, not the oil but the rain. After every rain, we have to drain the oil and water mixture, and replace the wick. Apparently they are not sealed properly. Wish Frontgate would replace.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No torches for use this summer! Purchased the a few sets of Pineapple torches. Have been working for months now to get replacement product. The screw in top is misaligned/badly designed on them, which causes water to get into the torch, making the torch and the wicks unusable. Product is on back-order until late September, so not sure we'll get to use these more than the 1 time we did this summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely torches Bought 4 for around my deck. They are well made and architecturally beautiful. They do use paraffin oil so you would need to purchase. I highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect These are the nicest looking torches on the market and the quality is near perfect. Their are two small but correctable problems with these torches. The brass tops fade over a couple of years and loose their beauty and too often the wicks will not light without draining the fuel and drying out the wick. Like others have posted the wick assembly allows air and WATER to get into the fuel and the result is the wick becomes saturated with water and won't light. I found using a two inch rubber washer that is tight to the threads of the wick assembly is the perfect fix and now the wicks light every time. Also to restore the brass tops I spray my torches with Permatex 81849 Rust Treatment every other year and it brings them back to their original beauty. With these to fixes you love these torches for very long time!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality Originally ordered two and liked them so much I ordered two more. Unfortunately after two seasons two of them broke off near the bottom stake. All were stored for the winter and only used in the summer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful.....but We have had these torches for four years, they finish is now flaking off on the stands and the cost to get them refinished is more than they are worth. We stored them in the winter out of the elements, but the finish is very poor and is peeling away.

Cleaning/polishing top of torches

The answer given in FAQ was that info would be obtained from mfg'r. That was 4.5 YEARS ago. I have the same question but not a long expected life span.
Asked by: TBDatGburg
I found the best way to restore these torches is to spray them with Permatex 81849 Rust Treatment. It is a clear spray that brings back the beauty in these torches. I do this every other year (tops, caps and poles) and they look almost new.
