The Ideal Sturdy Stand
This stand is not only ideal, but it’s also heavy duty and supports the large umbrellas with ease. I’m obsessed with the umbrella and stand. If you’re on the fence, climb down and order this one. You’ll be pleased you did! Love them!

Good base
Fits together well as a base but appears to have been designed to hold water instead of sand. Water has the potential to freeze so I can see why sand was suggested instead but the fill hole isn't very big so filling is awkward

Cracked in Arizona Heat
3 Summers and the base got to hot it cracked and warranty only 1 year. Just an FYI, it didn't with stand the AZ extreme heat.

Faulty Design
I agree with the other reviewer. It is nearly impossible to fill this with sand. The base has lots of crevices, which makes filling even more difficult. But, the worst feature is a small hole in the middle, on the side--it should be on one end. There is virtually no way to fill each of the four pieces with the required amount of sand (200 pounds total).

Impossible to fill
The resin is thick and so the base material should hold up. The design of the product is terrible as the openings for filling the 4 base pieces are on the side and in the middle so it is virtually impossible to completely fill with sand. The opening needs to be on the end so the base can be completely filled.
