Provence Urn is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed We purchased this four years ago. We were initially very pleased. Recently the urn's finish has stated to flake off like old paint. I expected more than 4 years of use from the urn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big & Beautiful I really liked the Provence Plinths that I bought to go with the Provence Urns for my front entry way. Unfortunately they are too big for my planned usage and I am returning both sets. The only other comment I would offer is that in buying 2 plinths and 2 urns, the "antique white" color is not consistent across the products. One urn was more gray than white and neither matched the plinths perfectly... but that doesn't happen in nature either, I presume. Perhaps better if you aren't planning on pairing as I was.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Provence Plinth - Nice looks but flimsy sides I purchased 4 plinths and 4 urns. Slight color variance...just an FYI... The urns were in good shape, but 1 plinth was torn across the side, just under the 'lip'. I returned it and was sent a replacement that was torn also. The packaging was superbly strong, with heavy duty cardboard and really thick pieces of styrofoam... am guessing the problem is either a warehouse unstacking issue or a poor handling with delivery issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Provence Urns As expected, reasonably authentic look. Personally I love the fact that these are a lot lighter in weight than a real stone version would be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful! I bought this to support a yard statue. It looks so nice and you would think it is cement. The color is much lighter than the pic online which goes well with my statue.

can a water repellant used on urn

Asked by: edvet
Thank you for your interest in the Provence Urns. These urns are made of pulverized natural stones and polyresin. It will resist water on its own. If you choose to use a water repellant, we recommend testing it on a small area first as the warranty will not cover damage from this type of application.

Perhaps and odd question but how would these planters look a small and a large next to each other on a front entry of a ranch style home? I have 18 feet long steps with a massive landing that would lend well to planters to the left of the door. Too fancy?

Asked by: Smilingbig
Thank you for your interest in the Provence Urn. These urns can be used together in different sizes. However, please note that for the best look at an entry way is to have the two sides balance. To achieve this you will want the planter or group of planters on each side to be approximately the same size and height.

Hi! The item description mentions all weather but also bringing in the planter. Has anyone kept this planter outside year round in harsher winters? I would like year round usage and put evergreens in it during winter months with no water. Thanks!

Thank you for your interest in the Provence Urns and Plinth. These items are designed to withstand normal weather conditions and can be left outdoors during winter months. However, we do recommend empting and placing them in a dry, covered area during winter months or when not in use.

What is the true color? and do the urns come with liners?

The color in the online pictures vary greatly. Can you give me a more precise color? And, do the liners come with the urns? I do not own the product, just doing research before I purchase.
Asked by: KateOtis
I just received mine today and I had actually been wondering the same thing prior to ordering. They are so extremely beautiful--words can't say! They are more of a creamy white color (which is what I was hoping they'd be). They are not a sandy, gold or yellow hue whatsoever. I'm not sure if this makes sense (hoping though that it does) but in the series of four online photos, I feel that the first and last pics are best representative of the true color. The second and third pics appear to me to be slightly tan. They do not come with liners. I purchased the 34" urns and I got a 13" hanging basket and set it right inside the planter and cut the hanger part off the top. (I placed a brick on the bottom to raise it a few inches and bring it up level to the rim). Hope this helps! They are GORGEOUS!
