Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saves your house from holes Followed the installation instructions. Used post hole digger to dig a 24 inch hole, used concrete and 2x4 as instructed, made sure it was level, let it dry for a few days, and so far it has done great with holding the hose reel. Glad there was an option like this so I didn’t have to mount the reel to side of my house. Only issue is I’ve only been able to get 2 of the 4 bolts to secure reel to post due to alignment issues. This is why my review isn’t 5 stars. I have the top-left and bottom-right bolts installed but thankfully that has been good enough so far. Overall I recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREAT HOSE I've purchased 4/5 of these over the years at different spots in my home as I absolutely loved the idea! Also bought 1 for my 80-yr old mom who uses it with ease because thats how good it is! The hose is skinny so I don't thing its for power-washing or any type of hard spray that you need, but for me its a great watering tool for my delicate potted flowers. The only issue is it doesn't last long at all. Currently 1 is leaking and there's nothing you can do about it. I've asked several handymen I use, to change out the hose and once they see it they don't even want to attempt trying to open it up & replacing it. I'm not handy and my husband doesnt want the added work so I'm stuck replacing every 2-3 yrs and thats what I don't like about it. As awesome as it is, there's no replacing the hose once it leaks so I'm finally changing to a reel-type hose. If your handy and willing to do that when needed, then this hose is PERFECT for you! Thats the only reason I didn't give it a 5.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality So 2 of the bolts were stripped. Whats worse is the holes don't line up either. Had to bend the metal with some vice grips and even then managed to only get 3 out of the 4 holes. I wish I would have tested this prior to cementing it into the ground.

A previous question asked if the hose reel can be attached to the house. The answer states that the bracket must be used. If the bracket is used, can the hose reel be attached to the exterior of a cement block house?
