2nd time we bought this. 1st time was 10 yrs ago!
Bought this mirror over 10 years ago from Frontgate. It stood the test of time, so we decided to get same item again. (We were freshening up the bathroom) Does not fog up. Hubby loves shaving in the shower. Worth the investment.

Much heavier of a metal than products sold in other stores. Wasn't sure since it is a higher priced item, but the mirror doesn't fog and is great quality. I would recommend this item.

Shower Mirror
This is the finest shower rack and mirror I have found. The chrome is easy to clean and has held up very well. The mirror is easily adjustable is stays clear while I shave.

I have the pole that this mirror goes on. It is a replacement. the old mirror eventually pulled away from the frame.

A great reflection of the company!
I purchased a shower butler 13 years ago. I've replaced the mirror a couple of times due to the mirror desilvering which is common in mirrors placed in hot showers. Overall very happy with the product.

The view from ten years
I've had one of these for the better part of a decade, maybe more; don't precisely remember when I bought it. I've had the stainless steel caddy its attached to for around 20 years now; liked it enough to pack it when we moved now ten years ago. Anyway, it is a stout, solid piece just like the caddy its attached to. Only two complaints, one minor and one a little more significant. The razor hooks don't fit a lot of razors, like any that have a curve on the blade bottom such as the newer Gillettes. The razor turns sideways and easily falls out. More seriously, the silvering is beginning to fail around the edges of the mirrors. That said, not a lot of consumer products last ten years these days so that isn't really a complaint, but don't expect it to hold up forever.

I had shopped at all the stores that offered mirrors of this caliber and found the Frontgate Mirror to be of finest quality when it was delivered.
I would recommend this item if your budget allows.

Shower storage
One shelf/basket of the three cannot stay secured to center pole and constantly drops down on top of bottom shelf. Otherwise, this is a fairly good product. I also purchased the optional mirror and that works out great in the shower for shaving.

Does the mirror need to be kept out of the direct stream of water?
I read in one of the reviews (under tension mt pole) that the mirror is not sealed, and therefore, the backside of the mirror finish becomes damaged. I'm not sure that I would like to caulk it, as suggested by the reviewer, but I am concerned about the wear.
Hello, we purchased two (2) of these mirrors and both mirrors suffered the same damage you're inquiring about (both sides of the mirrors) love the concept but at the price I don't want to have to replace every few years. I am currently looking for a replacement product. Hope this helps.
