It is my experience that the "weak link" with umbrella bases are the welds that secure the mast to the base plate. Winds flex this point constantly, resulting in very early failure at the bottom. How sturdy is that structural element on this product?

for both the round and square bases, does the base move when the umbrella is perpendicular to the ground? or do you have to lean the umbrella to one side? how many wheels are on both the the round and square bases? thanks

Have a very heavy base baron frontgate... the base pole has become loose... the base pole that attached to the cement base... how and where do i tighten it?? Can’t see how it tightens... thanks

My base 63438 BLA came with a hardware kit (#5318-777) but no explanation for why this kit was included. What is this kit for? And the diagram (# 5318-887) that came with the kit? No explanation/instructions for that either. 4 bolts, 8 washers - for what?

Beautiful sturdy base - heavy!
Thrilled I ordered this to pair with our 11 foot market umbrella. Delivery was quick for me and with no issues (unlike some of the other reviewers). I had my teenage son carry and set up for me initially. Has held up well in the Houston summer/winds!

Great umbrella base when you need to be able to move it around a little. While it’s super heavy, because of the wheels, I can maneuver it around to keep the shade. Great quality!

Nice looking base and practical with wheels
This is a nice looking umbrella base and I like that it has wheels to move in and out and adjust with the pole alignment over the table. Make sure you measure the height of the base height to be sure if fits under your table.
