Manufactured Wood? Tip Kit? $1900? Really?
Can't believe it. Looking for a good desk and came across this. I'm beginning to get it. The best desk will be an old used one that I don't have to nail to my wall. And won't have to worry about the finish peeling off.

Not as expected.
We returned this piece. Quality from Frontgate is generally quite good but this was not good quality. The hinges for the desk top were not put on correctly so when the top was closed, the top wasn't flat. Also be aware that when you open to the desk, the top either hits the wall (and can scrape the paint) or you have to pull the whole piece out from the wall. Poor design. But true to Frontgate standards, they were very courteous and we returned without any issues. This won't stop me from buying again from them, but this piece was a disappointment.

Inconvenient - Arrived Broken and in Pieces
The top must be opened up in order to access the front drawer/opening which makes it difficult to access if you have anything on top. Flips up and folds past the rear edge so the desk must be spaced off from the rear wall.
Wood quality is better than I expected from the prior reviews; however, I would not recommend this desk especially for the [full] price.
I am waiting for customer service. FragilePak or whoever delivered and everyone I contacted shifts blame to someone else for me to contact. Poor customer service.
