For use outside?

This item is titled "Sail'n OUTDOOR Wall Art." I just want to confirm that the materials used are suitable for permanent outdoor display. I would like to mount this on the outside of my home (in Michigan with winter conditions) fairly high up where it would not be feasible to remove each autumn. What do you think? Thanks for the info,

Thank you for your interest in Frontgate. In reference to your concern, the wall art is designed for outdoor use. To extend the life of the piece, it is recommended to store indoors during freezing months. I apologize for this inconvenience.

The metal gives you contemporary feeling but at the same time it goes well with traditional decoration. I am hanging it indoor although it was made for outdoor. Beautiful and masculine look!

It is a striking statement, and it reflects beautifully with daytime light if placed near windows or presents beautiful hues with evening lighting. It takes you away or creates a wonderful conversation piece when company arrives. The construction is sturdy with two hooks to balance as you choose and light weight makes it easy to hang. On one wall I have sea gulls (by same artist and have had them for years) and then this Sailboat and sun (or moon, if you please) on another wall. I get so many comments about them. They are quite expensive, but well worth the money.
