Elegant Planters
When i got this product, I was surprised that it's plastic. I bought many planters from Front Gate but they were made of different materials, which is much nicer. However, I think plastic has its benefits because it will not crack or chipped like my other planters, which i paid too much money for them and now not happy with it. I only got it for 1 week. They look very nice and so far, I am happy with it.

beautiful planters
We love our San Miren planters however in order to insure they will not tip over....as they are plastic.......you need to put rocks or sand in the base. However, the holes in the top and bottom of each planter are only large enough for sand not small pebbles which we preferred. Sand will drain out the bottom when the plants in the top are watered. Our suggestion is to make all of those little holes a bit larger.

Great looking but top heave
These planters are very beautiful, but they have a molded small planter area built into the planter. When putting dirt and plants into the planter it was very top heavy and fell over. There was no way to weigh the bottom down. We needed to drill holes and put stakes in the bottom of the planters and then secure these stakes into the ground. Even with these stakes it planter does not feel secure.

Planters look beautiful on the picture but they are in PLASTIC!!!! Overpriced and so disappointed... Waited for a month to get them and now returning them!!

These planter look beautiful in the pictures and cost what you would expect ceramic planters to look like - but they are plastic and so cheap. Don't waste you money!

There is water at the bottom of the planters and even with the holes open for the water to drain, the water is not draining out of the planters when I tip it over. I’m perplexed. Any ideas how I remove the water from these planters?

Has anyone experienced problems with the planters being top heavy and blowing over in heavy winds like the one review stated? Would like to use two of the taller ones on a balcony.
Thank you for your interest in the San Miren Planter. All know issues have been addressed by our Quality Department. You can add rocks or bricks to the bottom of the planter to add extra weight to the item if your balcony gets a lot of wind.

One reviewer said that the pots had an inside planter. If yes, what is the size of the inside part?

The inside of the 20" size is 16.7"dia. at the top, 12.8"dia. at the bottom and is 10" deep. The inside of the 30" size is 15.9"dia. and is 12" deep. The inside of the 32" size is 13.2"dia. at the top, 10.2"dia. at the bottom and is 12" deep. The inside of the 42" size is 13.2"dia. at the top, 10.2"dia. at the bottom and is 12.7" deep.
