Should be great but defective
These should be fantastic chairs...but: chips in the arms and peeling finish. I would not have called the color cappuccino--at least not a cappuccino I would ever drink. If our chairs are an exception in the quality, I would recommend them. Time will tell...been a week trying to get them returned for exchange but have not yet been picked up (box too big for either of our cars) owing in part to refusal by Frontgate customer service to check order when I first called. ..pick up order had not processed.

They are very cute, happy little chairs...
I bought four on sale a year ago and probably have entertained with them three times. The wood/bamboo has lost most of its varnish, it just chipped off, the varnish vanished! I suppose I should keep them in the garage but that's a hassle. I also suppose I could sand them down and varnish again but that's a bigger hassle. I keep them under a semi covered patio but that wasn't enough. They need to be sheltered from weather and I don't like taking things in and out of the garage....

Love the bistro armchairs ! They are very pretty and comfortable. The arm rests could be sturdier though, we have to be careful when getting up. I don’t think the chairs will last as long as the previous set of patio chairs we got from you some 30 years ago, but it’s alright as we’re in our 80’s !

Very small seat area
I’m only 5’3” and neither overweight nor heavy bottomed, but these armchairs are so tight in the back of the seat they pinch. The arm chairs are beautiful in the navy and white, very well made and very chic looking. They’re just completely uncomfortable. I’m hoping they’ll stretch with time. They are supposedly an exact replica of a French Bistro chair, however I’ve sat in many, and they were always comfy.
