Shaving Pedestal is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 78.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product My wife lamented the lack of a shower bench in our new home. We looked for a bench that we could add to the shower without success. Then she spotted the Shaving Pedestal. The Pedestal was easy to install, looks good, and allows her to shave safely.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Used product before the review I purchased this because the new home that I bought has a fairly small shower no, shower seat and no place to put your foot to shave. I purchased a shower stool and it was too large. The installation with very easy even for a single woman. I love the foot rest and would have given it a 5 but, the built in razor holder is designed for the cheap disposable razor. Love the product and just wish I would have purchased weeks before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant This is my second purchase of this item. If your shower doesn't have a built in place to put your foot while shaving legs, believe me, you will praise the person who invented this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shaving Pedestal We have 2 homes with new bathrooms in them and no where to prop your leg to shave. Ordered these and absolutely love them. Beats having to put a shower stool in. I highly recommend this product. And I've not had any issues with it not staying put. Follow directions when attaching to the wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Suits My Need After knee surgery, I needed a pedestal so that I can apply soap without hurting my knee. No unwanted electronics; but matching my shower walls, stylish, hardy and stable when glued on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product was unusable! Ordered this step for our new shower. Unlike the picture, the back of the step is curved and does not sit flat against the tile. The curvature of the back of the step provides only about 3/8 of an inch at the top and bottom of the back for the adhesive (100% silicone included) to stick the step to the tile.....not enough! Step drops off the wall and there is no way to make it work. Would give it zero stars, but that wasn't a choice for the review. Waste of money on this product!

Has anyone mounted this to tile? Anyone have photos of the ivory one mounted over goldish/brown tile?

Asked by: trapioca
Yes, mine is mounted to tile and it works fine. As far as the color, mine is a cream color and looks fine. It isn't that big, so it shouldn't be a problem and it does solve the propping up of the foot problem.

Will this shaving pedestal adhere to travertine, that is not a smooth surface?

Asked by: Mamoo4
Yes; that is the exact material of my shower stall. I used the adhesive that came in the box. Taped it for about 24 hours to prevent any movement. Tape is now off.

Shaving Pedestal

Can this Shaving Pedestal be applied in a molder plastic/vinyl shower??? Not sure if adhesive will adhere to plastic or vinyl walls.
Asked by: jvLancaster
The silicone glue will stick it to most anything. Be sure your mounting place is strong enough to hold someone's foot

How do you remove this from the wall? Will it break upon removal?

Asked by: mschmidt
Thank you for your interest in the Shaving Pedestal. Once mounted this is considered a permanent fixture and unfortunately, cannot be removed. However, we recommend going to you local hardware store for further assistance.

Can this be removed?

We are renters, and I want to be sure that a future tenant could remove the pedestal from the shower if they wanted to without damaging the marble wall.
Asked by: CatCCC
The Shaving Pedestal can be removed from the wall; it is held in place with adhesive strips and a silicone seal.
