Although it hangs from the stand, the mirror is not reversible thus no magnification on opposite side. It is a very heavy, substantial piece that is gorgeous!

Is the mirror cordless? Use batteries?

Thank you for your interest in the Sienna Bath Accessories. The Sienna Vanity Mirror, item #166597, is not corded or battery-operated. There are no lights on this mirror; it is just a removable mirror with a brass frame hanging freely on a brass and marble stand.
