Outdoor Chaise Cushion Replacements
The quality of this Cushion is okay - but the thickness from last time we ordered several years decreased and is thinner. Plus, the cost has increased.

Very disappointed
These cushions were special order and took months for delivery. We had ordered chair cushions as well and were very satisfied with them. However, the chaise cushions have a very soft cushion and collapse to about 1/2" thick when sitting on them. For the cost, we are very disappointed. We will attempt to find a local retailer who can replace the inside cushion material in order to make them more firm like the chair cushions.

Update on Prior Review
I wanted to update a review I posted 7 months ago to reiterate my dissatisfaction with Frontgate over the quality of the 2 cushions I purchased. I was initially very disappointed that these cushions had insufficient stuffing and were quite flimsy compared to other vendors cushions have purchased in the past. After buying these we used them for several months and they actually got worse with use..... the stuffing getting more compact and flimsy. Several months ago we were in the local Frontgate store where we often shop and mentioned this to the sales representative and were told we should bring the cushions in so they could look at them and determine whether they were defective or not. When we did bring them to the store, the sales representative said that they had, in fact, had a quality control issue with the vendor they used and that Frontgate had since changed vendors. We were initially offered an exchange sent to the store but after seeing the new cushions at the store once they arrived, they both had a visible crease and a depression in the stuffing from packing and the sales representative agreed that were not acceptable. Frontgate told us they would lay the cushions out for a couple of days to see whether the creases went away and the stuffing plumped up, but after several weeks and two trips to the store to look at the cushions there was no material change in the condition of the cushions. Since we use these cushions on chaises in an area of our backyard that is only very occassionaly used and since they are generally stored, we did express an interest in purchasing these although not for full price. After all this aggravation one would think that Frontgate would make a very reasonable accommodation in price if we wanted to purchase these cushions. Given the fact that we were told that the cushions would be sent to its discount store for sale and the fact that over the past two years we have purchased thousands of dollars of goods from Frontgate including a complete bedroom set, multiple sets of sheets, towels, a bedspread and many other odds and ends, we did think that discounting them by 50% would be the fair thing to do, but we were told that all the store managers (Sierra & Mary) would agree to do is shave $77 off the $390 price we paid. Notwithstanding multiple other bad reviews of this product, Frontgate continues to sell these cushions. They obviously do not care about the quality of their product or, even worse, don't care about their customers. Frontgate should be assumed of the manner in which they handled this and have lost what I would think they would believe to be a good customer for life.

The color is great
The only thing I like about these cushions is the color. Not what I expected. Way too thin and cheaply made.

What A Disappointment
We have bought a ton of items from Frontgate and have always been happy with the quality of the items they sell. We purchased two (2) of these chaise cushion from Frontgage assuming that for the price paid they would be high quality. Sadly, the cushions have insufficient cushioning and are quite flimsy. Very disappointed with the quality of these cushions and would not recommend that they be purchased.

Waterlogged
I ordered four chaise cushions (standard in-stock, air blue) is sold as an outdoor item, but IT IS NOT WATERPROOF. In fact, it is the opposite. Brand new, out of the box, the first rain caused it to be so waterlogged that you had to turn it on its end to allow the water to drain out, which even in the sun, took three days. At the end of the three days, it rained again. It is not a zipper issue, it is either the fabric, or the inside material, or both. I am returning the four chaise cushions, the bench cushion and the chair cushion--which is a hassle because I don't have the original boxes and the UPS store does not carry that size. NEVER BUY THESE. Frontgate should pull them from their website.

Can sunbrella rain fabric cushions stay out in the rain
Thank you for your interest in the Single-Piped Outdoor Chaise Cushion. The Sunbrella Rain fabric is not waterproof. It just makes the cushions more water resistant. We still recommend bringing the cushions in when you know that it is going to rain.
