Six-panel Hardwood Pet Gate is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase You cannot get the quality of Frontgate unless you can afford the quality. That's the truth. The gates I bought will last FOREVER.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this gate! I have had my gate for a while now and use it every day to block off the front entrance so that my dogs don't run outside. It has been a lifesaver! It has held up well and I can move it around! Takes a lot of abuse but still looks great! Thank you Frontgate!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best investment. This product is a gate or a compound for your dog of all ages. We bought it for our new puppy, but quickly realized that it’s handy for when you need to separate your pet from the rest of the house in a good looking and sturdy way. We’ve moved it all over the house. It blends in perfectly. We will have it for years...a great investment Wish I hadn’t bought the one from the pet store now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and works well This freestanding barrier is steady, even when going back and forth through the gate. I love being able to bend the barrier to fit different spaces. We found it very useful when we had a Christmas party at our home; our puppy stayed behind the barrier, and any guests who wanted to could walk through the gate to pet her.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed The gate I received was cracked at the top of one of the panels. I returned it and asked them to send me another one hoping it wouldn’t be cracked. Received second gate, it was chipped all of the place and a complete mess. Obviously no one looked at it before they shipped it to me? Returned and asked for a refund. I also expected it to be of higher quality considering the price. It did not look as nice as the picture in person. Still shopping for a gate...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Gate I LOVE this gate. We've had it for a few months now. We use it everyday, it blocks the entrance to our living room from the foyer. The dog it contains is a 70lb Staffordshire Terrier. She respects this gate. The door on this gate is wonderful - it stays open when left open on purpose. I personally find the tension mount gates that you have to pull up to open and that automatically slam shut behind you annoying. Our dog bulldozed through those anyways. Frontgate please carry a three panel version of this gate including the door for smaller hallways!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from One of the hooks to connect it broke when I assembled the pen.

Regarding the 6 panel hardwood gate, can it be broken down to make a smaller barrier or can the extensions only be added to it to make it even wider.?  Our foyer opening is 99 inches. Thanks

Asked by: MAC3boys
Thank you for your interest in the Six-panel Hardwood Pet Gate. This item is not designed to be taken apart and made smaller; however, it is designed to be used in a zigzag pattern in order to be free standing and should be used in an opening that is less than the full 146"W.
