Unique and well-made
I watched this chess set for more than a month. I thought it was over-priced. When it went on sale, I bought it. It is exquisite and makes me think of my Dad, who passed away recently. He did his "darndest" to teach us chess.

Attractive , but not practical
A nice looking set, great design, nice depiction of NYC. Board light weight , possibly pressed wood. Most of the buildings are very nice sturdy pieces , but the small wedged ones keep falling over and don't stay up while playing, not worth trying to use or you will have to keep standing up the pieces
