Great ambiance candles
We bought 2 of these Candles for our outdoor lanterns. They function perfectly. While not giving off a lot of light they do create a nice ambiance. Lastly these lanterns are in direct sun most of the day and candles have wistood the heat fine.

Excellent choice for lanterns
I bought 3 of these for Normandy Lanterns. They are absolutely perfect! They fit so well inside the lanterns. The timer is set so they come on at sunset, and stay on for a few hours. They have a lovely, warm light.
