Beautiful bowl that stays cold
We first used our bowl a couple weeks after we got it for a pasta salad. The cold disc stayed cold the entire day and night and we actually woke up the next morning and it was still cold! Very impressive. What was not impressive was after one use, the rim of the bowl already has a chip in it. We looked closely and one side of the bowl has much thicker glass than the other and the thin side is where it chipped. Its pretty noticeable too. For such a costly item, I thought it would have remained nice for longer than one time use. We were not sure how it got chipped but I assume if was from the handle of the serving spoon we had in there. Not to happy considering what we paid. 4 stars for its nice appearance and for staying cold but def lost a star for defective glass that chipped after one use.
