Telescoping Pet Ramp is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tricky but durable This is a heavy-duty ramp. You do have to take time to extend it and place it on your bumper. On my SUV, it did scratch the bumper. Next time, I put a no-slide drawer liner down and it added extra grip along with protection. I liken the process to setting up a kid's car seat the first time. Over time, it becomes second nature. For my dogs, it is a godsend. The friction on the surface really keeps my three amigos from sliding off. I have a sheltie mix who is a bit skittish. She is very smart, but gets nervous around large inanimate objects. I was afraid she'd fall off the thing, but the surface had her holding fast. She is always nervous about it but my two spaniels (cocker and cavalier), who are said to be not at bright as the sheltie mix, understand what it is for, are not nervous, and run right up. I got it because my cocker has hurt herself in her "Car Ride Excitement" attempting to jump up and, worse, attempting to jump down. I keep a short leash on my runaway span to lead her down -- heading her off at the pass, as it were. It is a process, just like getting kids into car seats, but I find it to have just as much value. My excitable crew of three has not gotten hurt and everyone is getting used to the routine -- especially me, the Mama Dog.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wouldn't buy Little difficult to extend, you must use both hands After first try up the ramp our lab was a little nervous and the tread material has already started to peel away. It's to slippery. After 6 Times using it the surface is all in shreds Should of returned but box went out with the garbage

Can this be used on indoor 5-step wooden stairs?

Asked by: AshC
The Telescoping Pet Ramp can extend between 40" and 70" and we recommend measuring your stairs to see if this ramp will fit your needs.
