Hi, how does this work, as it says, fits on any door...if the front door is pretty wide (fat :-)) on the upper part ...What i mean.... whats the lenght of the top part of this hanger , thats suposse to go inside the other part of the door..to hang..??

I was having trouble finding a wreath hanger to fit over a fence gate. Most I looked at were too narrow, a few too wide. The way this hanger is hinged at the top means it easily slid over the top of the gate and then grasped onto it. The hanger has also stayed put over the past few weeks, by that I mean not moving from side to side, and securely holding my wreath. Time will tell how well the finish holds up to the elements, but as of now it looks lovely. Just what I had been searching for.

Close but not quite
We have a larger wood door with a curved top. Product is good, but it doesn’t work for our door. Maybe something I missed in the description??
