Ultralight Slimline 4-Step Ladder is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 145.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will Specify this for Clients I am a General Contractor and Build Custom Homes. I selected this ladder for a pantry in my own new home. I plan to incorporate a place for this ladder for other clients as part of walk in pantry designs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Surprisingly unstable - previously own 3 step I have an almost identical Ascent 3-step ladder. That step ladder is solid as a rock. I can't tell exactly why this ladder feels "looser" despite being almost identical, but it definitely does. And you can't seem to tighten any of the joints on it. Another feature that the Ascent ladder has is a flared step at the bottom (only laterally) which doesn't add at all to the folded thickness but adds noticeable stability. They are much grippier than this one. A good way of describing the lack of stability is that if you get on the third step and move your weight side to side, the ladder is able to "twist" slightly. And if you're at the very top you could easily rock the ladder from side to side with either of the front feet moving slightly as the ladder twists. I would likely only use the very top step with my girlfriend spotting me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great light weight ladder We just finished building our dream house and the ceiling heights are 10 feet so needless to say I can't reach the top cabinets and wanted to get two ladders for each side of the house. Pros - Lightweight but very sturdy. No problem bringing from room to room Picked navy blue to go with the interior colors, doesn't look like any old ladder. Cons - None I highly recommend

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unsteady I purchased the 4 step ladder primarily for myself. I regret not returning it from the onset due to its instability, however, I liked how lightweight the ladder was. I have on more than one occasion almost have this ladder tip sideways and now only use it occasionally when my husband manually supports it while I'm on it. Very disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and easily stored I ordered two of these for our new home which has extremely high cabinets and closets. I then ordered a third one because it fits the bill so beautifully.

However, to avoid injury, use with both feet securely on the platform and at least one hand in the center of the ladder handle and do not over reach. 4-step ladder

There are conflicting answers regarding the 4th step. Please clarify that the top step/platform is built to be used as a step rather than simply a platform. With the 4-step ladder title, one would certainly assume that all four are to be used as steps.
