I recently purchased the entire Valetta Dining set and I'm very satisfied. I don't know where everyone else shops, but when I purchased this table, chairs and buffet I felt I was paying for quality and quality is what I received. I had searched locally and on the internet for just the right table and 12 chairs for my dining room. I purchased 10 side chairs and 2 host chairs. My entire order came without a glitch and everything was in perfect condition. I hope this helps shoppers and I hope you all enjoy yours as much as I've enjoyed mine. Also, these chairs were not golden, they were as they appeared. Great for gathering the family to the table.

I LOVE THIS TABLE!
I have looked for years for the right table for our large dining room! This one looks fabulous in the space, and I am impressed with its stability and class. The only reason I didn't give it a score of 5 is that the table is darker than it looked in the catalogue and online. It is really more of a dark walnut color. I still love it, even though I would have preferred a lighter finish.

Awful experience
After the drama we had with the first delivery, the second delivery, and finally the third delivery actually having my chairs, 2 out of the 8 were ripped on the seat. Worst experience ever!

Beautiful Chair -- Great Value
I purchased 2 arm chairs in Bisque and have had them approx. 5 weeks at the time of this review. They get every day use in my kitchen dining area. They are very comfortable due to cushion density, seat depth and angle of back. I am very impressed by the quality of the detail -- i.e., straight seams, precisely placed nail head application etc. Unlike another review, I do think that the color of the fabric is as pictured and is, indeed, a creamy bisque, and not "golden". These chairs compare very favorably in appearance with other very high end, upholstered dining arm chairs that I own, albeit that that the Valetta is very light weigh, likely because of the materials used in construction. However, the Valetta price is 60% less. I don't expect these chairs to have the same shelf life as my other chairs, but there is great Value for the price.

Great set
We have owned the Valetta dining table and chair set for more than a year now, and we love it just as much as the day we bought. The table is very easy to put together (took about 20 min). The wood is high quality, but it is easily scratched. The chairs are also beautiful. Highly recommend this set for any kitchen.

Best table ever!

This is the ultimate dining table, with seating for fourteen (Coming to America). It is both Elegant and sturdy. The attention to detail is unsurpassed. The expansion leave(s) are design for end of the table insertion, nice touch!

Valletta Trestle table and chairs are stellar!
Quality is assured when you buy from Frontgate! The Valletta Trestle table and chairs are absolutely gorgeous - I have received a TON of compliments. Seats 14 easily with leaves! Love that the leaves are at the ends of the table and not the center of the table. This means one person can put them without help. Super pleased with this purchase!

This is a nice looking table, but the table I received had a poor finish on the legs, with large drip marks in somewhat noticeable areas. Also arrived with a ding in the side of the table top. Overall not worth sending it back, but not the quality I was expecting.

Beautiful table. Very stately base. Chairs are beautiful. The wooden strip on the upper back gives a distinct feature to the chair. Chairs are very light, because they are upholstered. Bisque is a very nice color. Chair cushions are firm. All in all beautiful dining set.

Just received this console today. It exceeded my expectations! Arrived expertly wrapped without any damage. The marble top is thick and gorgeous. A very substantial, high quality piece of furniture that adds elegance to my home. Color of the wood in the photo was very true. This is the first piece of furniture I have ever bought sight unseen, so I was somewhat apprehensive. However, the wood matched my dining room set perfectly and I could not be happier.

Purchased 2 of host chairs and 6 side chairs and love them all. Been looking for years to find just the right
chairs and had almost given up. Didn't want the same
chairs that you see everywhere. The wait paid off.
These are very nice quality and very comfortable.

Hardware Missing Manufacturer in China
The table seems to be nice, however I was unable to assemble as the manufacturer did not include the hardware, which we were willing to go and buy, however only the manufacturer had the missing stretching trestle pins...something we couldn't buy. It's been a week now, and still have not heard back from the manufacturer, and Frontgate did not have any other tables in stock to replace by Christmas. So, sadly I am returning table.

Fabric Color not as pictured
Though the styling of this chair is wonderful, the basic fabric color isn't close to any photographs...either online or in the catalog. The warning is the "Bisque" name. Rather than a traditional linen/neutral stone color, this fabric is a pale golden. Ok if your colors are gold, but mine are not. Seat cushion is also a bit hard. Otherwise, it is a nice shape and has great detailing.
