Vert de Chine Ceramic Double Gourd Vase
My husband saw the vase reviewed in the Clarion Ledger (Jackson, MS) and ordered it for me. I love the vase and so does my florist who does a new arrangement every week. What a perfect gift by which to remember my husband.

More grey-turquoise than teal-turquoise
1. This was a less-rich color than in the photo
2. There is no evidence that it’s handmade, as in, no finger-tracks from being thrown on a wheel. Also, it arrived in perfectly pre-molded styrofoam, so clearly it was made in a mold and then maybe hand-glazed
3. It is too large/oversized for a bookshelf, but too small to be a floor vase. If you want a hearth vase, this size would do it.
4. It is thin at the rim, but the walls are thicker/heavier at the bottom. Not the even cross-section you’re looking for in a ceramic piece.
...I sent it back.

Not like the photo online
Disappointed in the color of this. The colors in the photo appear more vibrant and interesting. The one I received is rather dark and the colors drab and muddy. I would have never looked at it twice passing by it in a store. I'm going to return it.
