Bottomline: I love these mats
Water & Dirt Shield Boxwood Half-Round Door Mat is the most durable and yet still attractive mat I have ever found. After living with kids and dogs as well as an outdoorsman spouse, it is the only mat that manages the dirt, moisture and general debris my housemates bring to the doorway while at the same time remaining generally attractive for guests. My favorite advantage of this mat is that it mitigates moisture at my doorway. After a deluge, the water doesn't wick up into the mat or puddle on the mat waiting to be tracked in by kids and animals. It is so great I bought several, one for each doorway as well as one for the family river retreat. While the half-rounds are my favorite, the same mat is available in larger sizes in rectangular shapes and alternate designs and colors. A larger rectangular version is available. I have a brown (bronze-like) leaf pattern mat used at the river. I wish there was a moderately larger half-round available. Bottomline: I love these mats.
