Since this has a rubber backing, is this safe to use on a cedar deck that's exposed to the weather? I don't want to discolor the wood.

Could this be used as a stair tread? I just need one coming into the house from our garage.

Attractive mat
Nice mat textured to hold water rubber back so I have it on a tile floor not sure about putting on a wood floor.

Nice mat, but charcoal doesn't show design
Nice and compact, good for an entryway. Looks to be of good quality. The only thing is that I really like the pineapple design, but you can't see it at all on the charcoal color. It's dark in the website photos, but it's even darker in person. I'm going to keep it since returns are a hassle and the product overall is good, but it's just too bad because I bought it for the design.
