Terrific Door Mat
This is the perfect door mat outside our friend's entrance. The traffic of people and dogs is constant. This mat does a wonderful job (when the kids stop long enough to actually wipe their feet!) and is holding up very well in extreme cold weather. I like the heavy duty backing on this mat, which is becoming more difficult to find. Beyond the outstanding functionality, it really is a very nice look for our entrance.

Will the rubber backing on the Water and Dirt Shield mat discolor laminate flooring? Would be used indoor to catch dirt/moisture but concerned about new flooring.

When ask if this mat can be used outside, the response was Not recommended. However, previous questions about using as an outdoor mat, the response was Yes can be used for outside, exposed areas. Using in exposed with mud, water and sun. Good?

Hi. We're mainly looking for a mat that will absorb water from boots--not as concerned about trapping dirt. We're as concerned about keeping off-gassing of synthetic fibers to a minimum. Will wiping boots trigger off-gassing of chemicals?
