Great Catchall
To date have purchased this item three times from Frontgate, that's how much we love and utilize this Indoor/Outdoor rug. It really does its job! Our first was purchased for indoor foyer use - catching the dripping snow and wet boots in our NYS home; moving to FLA, we purchased this rug several years ago in blue (still doing its job in our garage) and now the black one is at our front door keeping the entrance safe and clean.

Great door mats
I had these at my old house and when we moved I bought two more for the new house. They can be used inside and out. They are very durable and clean up easily with a shake or a quick vacuum. I will buy another when my deck gets pressure washed. Good colors and great patterns.

Exceptional product!
I have bought a good number of these mats in different sizes over the years and I still have all of them and cannot tell which is older and which is newer. The oldest one is now 8 years old and spent four of its years constantly outdoors in the Las Vegas sun. A few days ago, I accidentally spilled a significant amount of Clorox onto one of them and thought I had surely destroyed it. I took a hose to it and NOTHING happened to it. These mats are worth every dollar spent on them and then some. I could not be more impressed.

Is this mat good to use at the shore for sand?

Will the rubber backing on the Water and Dirt Shield mat discolor laminate flooring? Would be used indoor to catch dirt/moisture but concerned about new flooring.

When ask if this mat can be used outside, the response was Not recommended. However, previous questions about using as an outdoor mat, the response was Yes can be used for outside, exposed areas. Using in exposed with mud, water and sun. Good?

Hi. We're mainly looking for a mat that will absorb water from boots--not as concerned about trapping dirt. We're as concerned about keeping off-gassing of synthetic fibers to a minimum. Will wiping boots trigger off-gassing of chemicals?
