This is really not sturdy enough to handle a lot of foot traffic so I put it at my back patio door

Classy and Resistant
Thank God for Frontgate! This mat is the perfect middle ground between my husband’s practical side and my desire to keep our home looking stylish! This mat is water absorbant and resistant but the details created by the designer gives it an eternally chic look. It’s perfect in our garage. I only wish it had a better grip to the ground. Adding a rubber finish to the bottom would probably do the trick.

Nice door mat
Not gorgeous but very functional. We had this at the back door and it is great for kids & pets and holds a large amount of water. Its been in use for 4 months since the purchase and has weathered lots of rain, mud and snow with ease. The Gray color is bland looking but also doesn't draw a lot of attention while still having appealing markings.

Great Doormat
Excellent quality, fits perfectly. My only complaint is that it's quite a bit darker in color than the picture shows. Others had mentioned that, too. I took my chances, and am choosing to keep it anyway.

Nice but not as rich looking as expected
Very nice and should do the job of drying wet shoes and keeping the dirt outside. The color was a little lighter than we expected and it didn't look as rich as the photo. We should have ordered a darker color. Too soon to say how it will hold up and clean up.

Disappointing
This attractive mat is a bit thin and felt cheap when I took it out of the box. It had arrived well before the scheduled delivery date. We have not had any inclement weather so I can not speak to its ability to hold water and "regular" dirt. What I can say is that we have had a great deal of tree seeds, bud scales, catkins, etc - tree "dirt"- and it all sticks to the mat. The wind will blow the majority of the tree "dirt" off of my porch but will not blow it off of the mat! It's very frustrating to have to pull out the vacuum cleaner every day to vacuum my welcome mat as the tree "dirt" does not shake off well nor can it be easily removed with a broom. It sticks in the pattern grooves of the mat or on people's shoes as they enter. I did not have this issue with my previous mat which was also a Frontgate product. (But it was constructed of different material (cocoa fiber) which lost its color pattern stamping within a year of purchase and the squirrels loved to munch on it.) I will be curious to see if this mat performs as poorly in autumn when the leaves fall. For the Frontgate price, I expect better.

Attracts all debri
First I ordered the gray color, the color is so dark it’s almost black. The two biggest issues I have with this rug is 1; It doesn’t stay in place that well, and 2; it attracts all debri and is hard to keep looking nice. Little pieces of threads, fluff, leaves etc stick to this thing and even vacuuming doesn’t get it all up. I’ll clean it and less than an hour later looks like no one has been home for days. What a waist of money. For what this costs it should preform better, especially at staying in place which is one of it’s main jobs. I gave only 1 star because you can’t rate zero stars, but also, it looks good the few minutes it stays clean.
