Rustic functional cookbook holder
Very nice item. It is rustic, so be aware the look is not polished. However I like it very much and its quite functional. The weights hold the book open and the angle seems right. It does take up a bit of counter space, but so did the cookbook lying open on the counter and getting food spilled on it!

Use mine to hold my calendar book.
I have this cookbook holder on my kitchen counter and it holds my calendar. It keeps the calendar open to the correct page even with my windows open.

Weston is a winner
Very unique and different from your typical Cookbook stand/holder. I love the ironwork. An usual piece. Just wish the back board was a bit trimmer.

Expected better
The cookbook holder looked nice from the front and was sturdy enough to hold a large, thick cookbook. However, the wood base seemed excessive, with a lot of extra wood in the back, and was rather roughly cut--did not fit perfectly in the iron base. I expected better quality. I ended up returning it.
