Vibrant Colors!
I love the vibrancy of the colors in this doormat. It gives a classy look to the door step. The only thing that threw me a little was that the directions say to vacuum it often, and yet it is shown in the catalog as an outdoor mat. Usually, you wouldn't vacuum an outdoor mat. So a little confusing as to whether or not it is really supposed to be used out of doors. But for now it is outside and looks great, has been through rain storms and still looks good.

You’ll want more than one!
A few years ago, I read a review which described the Wingate Monogrammed doormat as being too elegant to place outside. It was so gorgeous she used it in her foyer! Between that review and others which reported how well it held up outside, I placed my first order; then another one in a different color for another entry; then two more as housewarming and wedding gifts. The newlyweds told me they were so happy with it they planned to order another one! Mine are outside under covered porches. They’ve endured bad weather year-around for several years. When they finally start to look ragged (if that ever happens), I will order replacements. So yes, I recommend them!

Is this mat sewn with any metal thread or wire? We just had pavers installed around our front door and the builder said to not use mats that have any metal in them, even threads or thin wires. If they would rust, the rust would stain the pavers. Thank you
