Will complete the Family
My son gave me the preening heron for Christmas. It was love at first sight. We named it Ishi.
I recently purchased the smaller heron. The quality is excellent. I consider each a work of art. I will be purchasing the third shortly

Just gorgeous!
I had a couple of metal birds out in our landscaping that I've always loved. Based on the low price I paid for them, I knew that they wouldn't last for more than a few years. I was right. So when it was time to replace them, I found these. While they cost much more than my old ones, these are made of a non-rusting metal that should hold up better over time, thus the price. They were on sale so I jumped on it!
My herons arrived very quickly and in perfect shape. They are much sturdier than I had anticipated and the base holds them up really well. I placed them on pedestals of different heights and just to be CERTAIN that they are not blown over, I took three large round river rocks and placed them atop of the bases. Now, shy of a tornado, these herons aren't going anywhere.
Worth noting, the bottom of the bases are covered with a felt-like material which won't last for long outside. While this is a nice finishing touch to the bottom, I would expect to be pealing those off within 6 months. It won't matter, as that area doesn't show at all...but it's worth mentioning.
I can't attest to the longevity yet, as I've only had them out on my deck for a couple of months. Fingers crossed that the aluminum will age better than my cheap steal birds did.

Awesome
Absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. They make such a statement in my newly developed gated community. My neighbors love them so much and so do I.. They are worth every penny. My house is on an elevated lot so it makes it more noticeable.

Oh no! Someone stole my beautiful heron!
I purchased the larger heron 4 or 5 years ago and it looked great until the night it was stolen out of my gated patio. I almost cried and but later I decided it had to be replaced. For a few days I looked for something that I liked as well, but in the end I ordered the same heron. I now lock the gate to my front patio but my neighbors and I are happy that I have my beautiful heron again.
