Great addition to the backyard.
I purchased one of these a couple years ago during the pandemic as we were embracing our "resort" lifestyle at our home pool during the shut down. While a bit expensive, the Barton Accent Stool, is finely crafted and quite sturdy. My outdoor furniture is all wicker besides this stool, and my problem was that setting drinks, phone, speakers, and other gear on a "bouncy" wicker surface lead to many spills including a broken screen for my iPad Mini. Now I use the Barton Stool as a side table, problem solved. When my nephews come over for a swim, they can also use the stool to join the adults at the outdoor dining table. I just recently bought the 2nd stool based on my experience with the first one, and have no regrets. I'll mention one thing to help keeping the stool look brand new after leaving it out in the sun and sometimes rain. Wash it with soap and water, and after it dries, rub it with a light oil-based lubricant. After doing this, the stool looks like brand new.
