Carlisle dining tables and umbrella use
Are you able to punch out the circle in the middle of the Carlisle table (round or oval) to use with a patio umbrella?
I was at the outlet store today and they had an oval table. It had a round piece that could be removed for umbrella use and replaced if you don't want to use the umbrella

It appears from the picture that there is a Carlisle circle table that seats 8. I don't see this on the website, doesn't it exist?
There are two sizes, the large oval (which would seat 8) and the 60" round.
I have four chairs with my round table and there is sufficient space to add two guest chairs on occasion.

How much does the table weigh?
It is very heavy. Will take two men to deliver and two men to upright after assembly.
It's not a wobbly table for sure.
I believe I read the weight on this (Frontgate site) was approx. 100 lbs for the table.

Can 6 chairs fit around the round table?
I am interested in Carlisle round table with 4 regular chairs and 2 swivel chairs . Will it be too tight?

Gorgeous Dining Set
Beautiful table and chairs that seem very well made. Chairs are very comfortable, even without the cushions that are arriving soon. Haven’t used them outside yet so can’t speak to how they hold up after time.

OUTDOOR ELEGANCE
This is by far the most stunning outdoor dining set I have ever seen.
It is sturdy and elegant and beautiful to look at.
The slate color is gorgeous, the workmanship in the detail is phenomenal.
If you need something that is unique, isn't in the Sunday paper ads and in every other back yard, then you'd love this set.
The chairs are comfortable enough without the pads, but I did purchase them for more formal outdoor dining.

looks great but doesn't stand up to time
We bought the Carlisle Dining set and also added 2 additional rocking chairs. We love the style. Within the first year one of the rocking chairs started tipping too far backward. During the 2nd year another one broke so that it tipped too far backward. This year a 3rd one "broke" the same way. After much inspection, I discovered that a part called a fiberglass rocker spring plate seems to be deteriorating. You would think that parts on quite expensive chairs would last longer. There doesn't seem to be a way to order replacement rocker spring plates on Frontgate so I am exploring other options. I gave 3 stars because the non-rocking chairs are fine.
