3rd purchase... don't even need to research other
We bo7ght our 1st one 10 years ago & the hose & reel are finally wearing out. No need to research and try a different product. The price has gone up $60 in 10 years, but o have our eggs!! Take care to reel it up when not in use and not leave it under trees where sap and debris can make it dirty & afect the reel mechanism. We bought another one 3 years ago for the backyard.

Awesome Retractable Hose Reel-Perfection
These are wonderful, they keep your hose neatly tucked away. Once finished you make one jerk on the hose and it automatically reels back in. After ordering one and trying it, we purchased more for each connection around our entire home. Well worth the money, we've had them 4 years now and never had an issue with any of them. Highly Recommend.

This retractable hose is very handy. It always retracts back nice, and 100 ft is a great length. We actually were using our neighbors, so we finally bought our OWN!!

Came back to Frontgate Hose Reels
I had purchased these hose reel many years ago and the served well for 5 + years. When I needed new hoses for around the property I bought regular rubber hoses and those expanding ones that are so popular but I hated them both. The expanding hoses (bought 2) lasted just a few months before springing a leak and the rubber hose was so hard to maneuver and constantly kinked.
So, I came back a bought these Frontgate hose reels. Great value considering they are easy to use and retract and I know they'll last for many years.
Although the 1'2" hose diameter is smaller than most hoses, the reduced water pressure is really only noticed when I fill up the pool when opening it once a year. Otherwise works fine in the garden and with the pressure washer.
