Not only is this ladder much more stable, the platform at the top feels completely secure to stand on and allows me to reach the highest shelves in my kitchen and closets without the need for a larger ladder. I tend to get vertigo very easy and this is stable enough with good size steps to minimize my sense of vertigo even on the top platform.

When the ladder is open, what is the distance from THE FLOOR to the top step? It CANNOT be 2 feet 10 inches off the ground. It must be at least 4 feet. Do you mean 2 meters and 10 centimeters? Could you please check your answer?

We have the 3-Step in our home and the top step is 30” from the floor so the 4-step should be about 39.25”-40”.

It says open height is 51” and closed height is 35” ...is this a typo or am I missing something? Closed height should be 55” no?
